Our students have several reasons for using our platform:
Familiarity with Exam Format: Past exam questions help students understand the structure and format of the exams they will be facing. This familiarity reduces anxiety and allows students to focus more on the content rather than the logistics of the exam.
Identifying Key Topics: By reviewing past questions, students can identify recurring themes or topics that are frequently tested. This helps them prioritize their studying efforts and focus on areas that are more likely to appear on the exam.
Practice with Time Management: Exams typically have time constraints, and practicing past questions allows students to practice managing their time effectively. They can learn how much time to allocate to each question and practice pacing themselves during the exam.
Application of Knowledge: Answering past exam questions requires students to apply their knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. This application helps reinforce learning and deepens understanding of key concepts.
Feedback and Self-Assessment: After attempting past exam questions, students can compare their answers with model answers or marking schemes if available. This provides valuable feedback on their understanding and allows them to identify areas where they may need further study.
Building Confidence: Successfully answering past exam questions builds confidence in students' ability to tackle similar questions in the actual exam. It validates their preparation and helps alleviate exam-related stress.
Improving Exam Technique: Practicing past questions helps students refine their exam technique, such as how to interpret questions, structure their answers effectively, and ensure they address all parts of the question.
Using our past exam questions is a practical and effective study strategy that enhances preparation, builds confidence, and improves performance in exams by providing focused practice and valuable feedback.

1. A manufacturing enterprise has a limited plant capacity, the level and cost output will be determined by such capacity. A linear programming approach to find solution to a short-term decision problem is as follows: Umo-Ita Ltd. Manufacturing enterprise manufactures two high quality iron products(A&B) in the following proportion:
Products
A B
N’000,000 N’000,000
Selling price per unit 30 20
Variable cost per unit 15 10
Contribution N15 N10
Milling and grinding machines are used in the manufacturing process and the total machines hours are used in the manufacturing process and the total machines hours are needed to produce are unit of each product as follows:
Products
A B
Milling 5 hours 1.5 hours
Grinding 2 2
Total 7 3.5
From the above presentation, there are some assumptions that:
? Both products are in high demand
? The only constraint on output expansion is machine capacity
? The total machine hours available monthly are:
Milling (3 machines @ 200 hours per month- 600 hours)
Grinding (2 machines @200 hours per month- 400 hours)
Based on this presentation, the problem of decision making is to ascertain that combination of output of products – A & B which will maximise the total contribution margin to overhead and profits.
i ) What is your observation at first as a business analyst?
ii) Analyse the situation above in terms of the machine capacity limit, using the total number of units of either A or B which could be manufactured.
iii) From the above derive an equation output limits. 30 marks
2. Discuss leverage ratio of an enterprise. Identify with brief explanations the different types of leverage ratios and their uses. 20 marks
3. “Every business has to assess the financial leverage or capital structure of ratios to ascertain the funds mix provided by the equity owners and creditors”. Explain this statement as a financial analyst. 20 marks
4. Explain the following Liquidity ratios as they affect an enterprise and its organization. (20 marks)
a) Current ratio (5 marks)
b) Quick ratio (5 marks)
c) Cash ratio (5 marks)
